I found this chair at the Ballard Goodwill and couldn't believe how great of shape it was in being nearly 100 years old (there is a 1914 patent date on the original iron stem). Though the chair was in great shape for it's age, it needed a lot of work. I sanded, primed, and painted the woodwork also making the necessary repairs to gouges, scratches and blemishes as I went. The front of the chair is covered in a light brown micro suede to handle daily wear-and-tear while the back and seat bottom is sporting a designer cobalt blue and brown abstract fabric. I also put new caster wheels on the base and finished the entire chair off with a two tone paint job that really enhances the hand-carved details. Please let me know if you have any questions!
